Our next acting workshop, known as Let’s Act!, is on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at 8.00pm in the Rehearsal Studio of the CryerArts Centre, Carshalton.
David Thompson will be leading this acting workshop and his theme this time will be an introduction to emotion in Shakespeare. This will be a gentle introduction to Shakespeare so there’s no need to be familiar with the Bard’s work before hand. This workshop enable you to get underneath the unfamiliar language and get to the heart of what Shakespeare understood – the depths of human emotion.
So, whether you are an experienced SADC member or a potential new member, keen to find out what it’s all about, join us for this exciting evening in the Rehearsal Room at the The CryerArts Centre, 39 High Street, Carshalton SM5 3BB from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.
The final workshop of the season before the summer break will be:
12th June 2024 – to be led by Michael Saunderson
There will be a new season of workshops starting in September 2024.
Please note that these evenings are free to members with an up to date membership or to anyone over 18 years old wishing to try a Let’s Act! workshop event for the first time. A charge of £3 will be made for all other attendees.
