We are pleased to announce that our March 2026 production will be the Olivier Award winning play Single Spies by Alan Bennett and will be directed by David Page. The play, which originally received great acclaim when performed at The National Theatre, will be performed at the CryerArts Centre from Tuesday 10th March 2026 to Friday 13th March 2025. David is one of our most experienced directors and last directed for SADC the very successful production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
Single Spies is an intriguing double bill of plays , each play being about two of the most notorious spies in British history – Guy Burgess and Antony Blunt.
For those who wish to audition there will be an opportunity to read the play through with David at the Let’s Act! workshop on 15th October 2025 at 8.00pm in the Rehearsal Room at the CryerArts Centre, Carshalton. An audition will be held shortly afterwards and a date will be announced shortly.
