Our new season of acting workshops continues on 16 October 2024 in the Rehearsal Room at the CryerArts Centre, 39 High Street, Carshalton SM5 3BB from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.
This workshop is to be led by Ella McDonnell who is one of our very experienced and talented actors. Ella recently delivered very successful performances in the challenging lead role in our very well received production of “Alys, Always”.
Ella’s theme will be monologues and will be about commanding focus and attention.
During the workshop the group will look at monologues, from Shakespeare to Stoppard and will look at how to take a piece of text from page to stage, focusing on delivery, tempo, understanding motivations and intentions. The group will also have a go at developing their own monologues.
