Our next Let’s Act! acting workshop will be at 8.00pm on Wednesday 11th February 2026 in the Rehearsal Room at the CryerArts Centre and will be a read through of the play Honour by Joanna Murray Smith which has been selected for our June 2026 production. The session will be led by the director, Sheila Carr, who is one of our most successful and experienced directors having previously directed Arsenic and Old Lace and The 39 Steps at the Adrian Mann Theatre.
This is a perfect opportunity to get to know the play before the auditions which will be held one week later on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at St. Mary’s Beddington Church Hall, Church Road, Beddington SM6 7NH from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
But even if you do not intend to audition it is an excellent opportunity to practice your acting skills on a brilliantly written play and catch up with other SADC Members or meet them for the first time.

Please note that these evenings are free to members with an up to date membership or to anyone over 18 years old wishing to try a Let’s Act! workshop event for the first time. A charge of £3 will be made for all other attendees.
Let’s Act! workshops are held in the Rehearsal Room at The CryerArts Centre, 39 High Street, Carshalton SM5 3BB from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. Access to the Rehearsal Studio at the CryerArts Centre is by the side door on the right hand side of the building and is on the 2nd floor.
