Don’t miss this opportunity to see Alan Bennett’s Oliver Award winning play, Single Spies, about a fascinating period in British history, and one which sheds light on the relationships between the British and Soviet governments during the Cold War.
The play, which is in fact a double bill of one act plays, An Englishman Abroad and A Question of Attribution, was originally performed at The National Theatre in 1988 and received great acclaim. Since then it has been revived more recently at both Chichester Festival Theatre and the Rose Theatre in Kingston. This intriguing double bill of plays is about two of the most notorious spies in British history – Guy Burgess and Antony Blunt.
We look forward to seeing you there.
