Our next Let’s Act! acting workshop at 8.00pm on Wednesday 18th March 2026 will be led by Terry Oaks in the Rehearsal Room at the CryerArts Centre. Terry Oaks has now performed with SADC twice, first in Carshalton at War and most recently in Anne Boleyn, and is currently directing for Carlton Players, Wimbledon.
During this workshop Terry will explore the concept of collaboration. Theatre can work best when all members of the company collaborate to create a production rather than taking one director’s vision. In this session attendees will be split into small casts, performing the first three pages of a variety of plays. During the session groups will watch each others performances and feedback to the performing group on how best to enhance and perform their three pages, to create a truly collaborative performance.
Whether you are an experienced SADC member or a potential new member, keen to find out what it’s all about, join Terry for some acting practice and catch up with all the SADC news.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note that these evenings are free to members with an up to date membership or to anyone over 18 years old wishing to try a Let’s Act! workshop event for the first time. A charge of £3 will be made for all other attendees.
